Assistance in Choosing your Equipment

Download the Equipment sheet

If you want to have my or my team’s opinion on the equipment you have chosen for your video setup, I am here to assist you. I know that choosing the equipment for video recording for the first time is challenging. Despite now understanding what equipment is out there and what you need approximately, there are thousands of products available at different prices and with different characteristics. So to assist you in this, I have developed a simple Equipment Table that you can fill out, and we can work on it. Once I have your table filled out, I will:

  • • Check what your equipment choices are,
  • • Check the source (shop),
  • • Ensure the quality and price are reasonable,
  • • See if the equipment suits your circumstances and the space where you will be shooting. I might also
  • • Suggest changes to some items on your list.

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS

  • • Go to the table
  • • Do your research
  • • Fill it in with necessary information
  • • Share it with me as an online doc so we can collaborate
  • • Once we are satisfied with the choices, you can proceed to make an order

Recommendations When Making a Choice of Your Equipment

Choosing equipment might take you a few days. If you have the expectation that you will dedicate one hour to purchase your equipment, you will find that it is not always possible. Research takes time.

Don’t drag it out too long, though. Some people spend too much time on choosing the perfectly fitting equipment to get the best price, which takes ages. As a result, they waste valuable time. When you start selling your products, you will have more options to upgrade your equipment, so you will just do that. Now simply make an optimal choice as fast as possible.

Start with the Budget

Having a budget will help you make the best decision. Decide on the desirable budget after having an idea of the approximate minimum budget you can spend to have decent equipment.

Remember About DIY

Don’t buy what you don’t need if you have a limited budget. You will get what you want later when you start earning income.

Have a Wish List

Always have a wish list of equipment. If you spend a few days finding the equipment, make sure it is optimized. If you see equipment that you like but it is out of your budget right now, simply add it to your wish list and purchase it later.
