Do you often struggle with choosing the right tool to jot down important notes, which sometimes leads to losing valuable information? Whether you lack a notebook or your phone isn’t readily available, we’ve all been there. The result? An overload of notes scattered everywhere. But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. In this lesson, we’ll learn how to effortlessly transform handwritten text into a digital format, allowing us to jot down essential information on paper as needed, with the option to digitize and organize it later.

While we live in a digital age and often save time by using digital devices for note-taking, locating and managing digital notes can become quite challenging. However, we’ll address these digital note management techniques in future lessons. For now, focus on getting everything you need onto paper. Even if you’re not someone who automatically grabs a piece of paper when given a phone number to save, this feature can still be incredibly useful. Let’s dive into the world of digitalizing handwritten text, using the Google Lens app.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Open Google Lens.
  2. Picture the text you have in notes
  3. Select the handwritten text you want to digitize.
  4. Copy and paste it into your notes or desired digital platform.

Additionally, you can also use this feature to extract quotes from printed books, even if they are in a different language, and conveniently translate them into English.
