Welcome to the next Module of the course, where we will work on researching additional materials for your book and drafting your book. Let’s check where we are right now.

By the end of the previous module, you should have had your first draft.

The first draft might be very exciting to you, as there is a very big chance that the content of your book outlined and drafted by ChatGPT will be spot on. If it is so that is very good. Especially if you are writing the book with ChatGPT for the first time it could be quite impressive. But we are not going to use all the text ChatGPT has provided us. We will customize it later and add our voice to your book. This will be the last step in this module. Firstly, we have to focus on something else. So don’t worry if you don’t like how the text in your chapters sound or the subtitles you have. We will improve that.

To give you a full picture of how we will work I will outline what will be our work plan in this module going forward

v This Module’s Plan

In this module we focus on research and integration of additional materials + finding your voice. In the process your book will grow at least 3 times. So will your knowledge and understanding of the topic.

We will work on

• Understanding how to make book content sink and assimilate so that we can have it in our mind before we move further.
• Learning what makes the book attractive and believable using additional book materials. We will dive into research and statistics data, life and history examples, and personal stories that can be inserted in our book to enrich it.
• Research of materials with ChatGPT and analysis of materials. This is a very interesting stage.. a journey that you need first of all for yourself. We will dive into different perspectives on the topic discussed in the book. This is where you gain a deeper knowledge. We will step into it slowly, so that you don’t get overwhelmed, and make usual mapping of the materials.
• Once mapped, the materials will be distributed inside the mind-map between book chapters. This will give us visual picture of the book content and help us make the distribution equal across the book. So that we don’t have one chapter loaded with statistics and another with personal stories.
• The mapped materials need to be integrated into the book so that the ideas flow from one to another and we maintain consistency in the book. This will allow us to keep the reader engaged. This work can be done by ChatGPT or on your own. We will see what’s better when we get there.
