Welcome to the Website Building Course for Influencers and Public Figures. This is a straightforward course designed to help you build a website from scratch with the Minimum Technical Skills necessary for a Multipurpose Website. You will still need to acquire some technical skills, but the requirements have been minimized as much as possible. The focus of this course is not on becoming a WebMaster but on Building a Website that Will Help You Sell Your Products.

We want to build a website that will:

• Represent you as an author of transformational programs in your area or industry via a basic website setup and an author blog.
• Showcase your products and make them available for purchase by setting up an online shop.
• Convince people of the necessity to choose your products and services by creating compelling landing pages.

All these things require some technical skills, but the most important skills you need for success are:

• Understanding Consumer Psychology.
• Knowing your own Products and understanding your topic.
• Knowing your Customer.

Content of the Course

Basic Website with WordPress and Divi Website Builder

There are various methods to build a website. Some are easier, some are more complex, and results differ. We want to ensure our website looks professional and up-to-date. That is why we’ve chosen the technology: Divi – Drag and Drop Website Constructor and Elegant Themes Templates.

What are these things? They are elements of one service that allows you to:

• Choose the look and feel of your website.
• Have the pages of your website ready to be filled in with content.
• All of this is a simple drag and drop.

You will have all necessary tutorials when the time comes, but we do not start with this:

Content Preparation First

Before you start the technical part, you need to know what content you want your website to have. We know that you want to tell about yourself, speak about your products, and show your expertise. For this, we will need to create the Structure of the website first and then fill it in with the Content. All of this is going to be done in Word or Google Docs.

We are not working straight away on the website so that you don’t get distracted. Content Preparation First.

Content Types

You will learn to create the content for Landing Pages, your Blog Articles, and Main Website Pages (Home Page, About Page, and so on).

Products

In the Product Creation Course, you have already planned out your Products. Now we will need to ensure your products are presented in your shop with all necessary Descriptions and Prices. Some products require more information than description: for them, we will need to create Landing Pages.

Out of Focus of This Course

In this course, we do not focus on Purchasing Hosting and Setting up Website Files. Although I will explain to you how the website is built, you will have this job done for you so that you get straight into the creation of the content. This means I don’t teach the setup of the WordPress website in this course. The only thing out of the setup process will be the Purchase of Your Domain Name.
